Wow, I'm tempted to buy a ps3 just to fold.

It might be stating the obvious but I cannot help but be amazed at the output of the PS3s. And the GPU-clients output even better.
I am still trying to figure out the merit system adjustments, i.e. points for WUs on the different sets of hardware. AFAIK the points scored from the PS3s are not rated quite as high as from PCs because the flexibility (what WUs they can run) is better on the PC...?
I have just turned mine to folding and it's done all most 1024 points in 24 hours on it's own:boxing:
mine too, it rips through a 250000 work unit in around 9 hours!
Can you spot when I turned mine on?

Well, it for sure shows. Last 7 days shows 102,000 points. We are setting new records all the time, as people fire up the PS3 and return old usernames to folding. Many reactivated folders :D
Hopefully F@H will soon go past their ProATI state and enable the GPU to run on nVIDIA cards

Isn't that related to a problem in nVidia hardware/Archistecture? I recall a post some time ago about it.
Can you spot when I turned the PS3 off over the last few weeks?

Come on guys, keep those PS3's running so you can show the rest of us some dust :) Points are dropping quickly, so let's get back up there! :D
I cant do anything about PS3's but I just configured four 8800GTX machines to fold, so hopefully it will show soonish. Dunno if I configured them correctly tho but time will tell. :D
Ill see if I cant make use of the quad cores in the machines aswell (Or does the client use whatever it can whenever?)

4 x 8800GTX + 4 x 4 cores running f@h? Get going!! :D
See Kreg's post here for details on setting up parallel GPU and CPU folding:

That'll fold more than anyone else in the team!
TL.
I should have the multiple GPU2 for sli setups guide ready by tomorrow, it really pumps out a lot of WU's ;) cross your fingers i get it running stable by tomorrow :D
I'm loving all this GPU folding, it's fantastic, but your gonna start leaving us for dust :D Guess I wont be in the top 10 for much longer, ah well its al for the team :D
One of my new neighbours has a PS3 and I've added 33597 to it but would like to know;
When the PS3 doesn't play any games, does F@H (F@H) start or should he select the program so it starts?
you have to select the folding program.
PS3 devs didn't do multi tasking at school:ranting2:
