:woot2:
Check..
Not a chance, still with 6600gt.
Thing is, I am not even sure the game, with its bothering "modes" will be worth it. I am more looking forward for FarCry2, tbh.
easy stuff, question, will i be able to run it @ 1680x1050 with a single 8800?

in DX10-mode I doubt it :g: But not sure...
DX 10 mode doesnt really require more then DX 9 mode
You think? Every game i've seen thus far with DX10 support has dropped 10-20fps when it gets enabled. They've not get got it all worked out properly I don't think.
DX 10 is a game optimizations, it lets the game developers increase the graphical effects, without a performance drop, but Vista has some issues with managing I/O requests, which is also shown in stuff like transfer rates in Vista, which all thats tried vista knows... simple stuff like transferring data in vista is bollox (sorry for the language) and DX10 increases the amount of I/O data alot...

In the beta i ran Crysis @ 1680x1050 high detail, fps was around 30-40 most of the time..

oh you got the GTX with 768mb, nice nice ;) you should be able to run 1680*1050 @ medium with a nice fps, or high with around 30 fps
