Gorion has touched down in the UK and is staying in Hertford, but has no internet access atm. He wants to buy a laptop whilst he is over here and is looking for places to buy them from - he has already visited the likes of Curry/Comet/PC World and said no to their meager offerings.
he wants to use the laptop for gaming - but where can he go to buy one whilst int he UK (given that persuading people like Dell to ship one to a UK address when it is paid for with a Matlese credit card is likely to prove somewhat problematic.
Urgent suggestions required please so that i can call him back and point him in the right geographical direction!

If he wants a good gaming laptop I would recommend anything by Rock, they are the canines dangly bits. Depends on how much he wants to spend though. The Rock Xtreme 770 costs in the region of £1606 Review here (http://www.custompc.co.uk/reviews/129251/rock-xtreme-770.html)

Also could try some Sony Centres as the new VAIO AR's are great (if somewhat overpriced) laptops.

I'd head to a city. I'm sure in London you'd find a good shop for high spec laptops (at a premium). I saw some in Harrods last time I was there which were quite good you'd get the novalty value of getting a laptop from harrods...down side is that would wear off when the price catches up with you.
Thanks folks, Gorion is going to probably try the Overclockers route.
