There’s nothing worse than having to live near a disappointing new building, spend time in a dismal town or have to put up with bad planning decisions.
This is your chance to have a say and influence planners and councils to think twice.
The search is on for Scotland’s worst ‘Carbuncles’ as published by Prospect magazine.
Do you know a place worthy of a coveted ‘Plook on the Plinth’ award for most dismal town? Or perhaps a building fit for the ‘Zit’ award for most disappointing building? Maybe you know of a bad town planning decision suitable of a ‘Pock Mark’ award? If so then the Carbuncles is waiting for your nominations.
The deadline for nominations is 15 November. Click here (http://www.mail-interactive.co.uk/accounts/link.php?URL=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5hcmNoaXRlY3R1cmVzY290bGFuZC5jby51aw%3D%3D&Name=&EncryptedMemberID=NjIzMDQ%3D&CampaignID=206&CampaignStatisticsID=161&Demo=0&Email=info@pressential.com) and follow the Carbuncles link to nominate the developments (or lack of them) that make your blood boil.
The competition is already heating up with Paisley, Coatbridge, Ravenscraig and the new BBC Scotland building all up for nominations. If you know of somewhere worse then we want to know. Remember when deciding who or what you want to nominate it’s not about punishment for the sake of punishment, we’re looking for unexploited potential, a lack of vision and ambition by powers that be.
So if you have an opinion, want a public platform to vent these frustrations and want to make a difference get nominating now (http://www.mail-interactive.co.uk/accounts/link.php?URL=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5hcmNoaXRlY3R1cmVzY290bGFuZC5jby51aw%3D%3D&Name=&EncryptedMemberID=NjIzMDQ%3D&CampaignID=206&CampaignStatisticsID=161&Demo=0&Email=info@pressential.com) . You can upload photos, make nominations and tell everyone exactly what you think.
Any nominations?
