Excellent choice!

Very hard, very sideways, but what a rush when you put a few corners together! Dont think i've ever raced with the LX's, so should be interesting.

good work lads.

This combo really teaches you to control your right foot. Some say that the LFS tracks are too smooth, some even claimed that even SO has only one or two bumps. This combo shows the opposite, you have to know the bumps so you can correct the effects they have on you car.

For some mysterious reason this combo brings vacuum cleaners to my mind...hmmmm :g:

I do, but God alone knows why! I go on the off-chance that someone posts something interesting. It happens occasionally.

I hope to be back racing tonight. I've been very tired lately; usually I have time for racing only after 22:00 and then I should be sleeping already at 23:00 to not be dead tired next day.

Last night I was going to use good time for racing, but I was a bit unlucky with my new graphics card. It is a HD3850 and it requires a power connector that my power supply did not have, and there was no adapter in the box. Today I got an adapter for free from the store so I should be fine tonight.  Now I can put full AA on LFS! :D

Good man :thumbsup2: This combo is sorting the men from the boys eh? More tickle, less hammer is the order of the day. Of all the comboes we've done so far, this one makes me more knackereder. I reckon on a success being a finish!

Really enjoing the setup - I'm not that fast, but seem fairly consistent. worked OK last night :)

I've been bit down lately. Not been interested enough to race the combo. I did show up for a short time one night, but could't find fun and left soon.

Where the heck did you get that one? Here every place is full of "don't have". :g:

I might get HD3870 or maybe GF8800GT for the new computer...can't just decide which one. One is faster and the other is DX10.1

Their Oulu store is just next to my work place, they had a few of them on the shelves so I grabbed one. I'm playing just LFS, so I did not care if 8800GT might be faster. With 8xAA and all other stuff on max everything seems to work fine, did not drop below 50fps.

mmmm...I think that means bad, but I really can't understand why :g:

What is 209 euros? Your card? Can't have been that low...HD3870 or 8800GT?

Anyway...I've heard that nVidia drivers suck in Vista and Vista is slower than XP. Also ati is DX10.1 and it might get more speed with coming drivers. I play other games than lfs too, so maybe I should stay on XP...mmmm...aaarrggghhh

Dog's bollox=Very good. It's an 'English' thing.

No, the card on that Finnish website. 8800GT

Everything sucks in Vista, don't go there. nVidia is DX10 but XP isn't so it doesn't matter.

great combo, tought me something, but a lot was left to be learned after seeing how ultra smooth and fast the winner Azaazaa was. he is an amazing talent.

here the stats:
http://romus.000webhost.info/lfs/dmr/stats/SOTownLX6/results.html

and the movie from the last race is still undone, but it's coming. cannot let it be undone forever as Aquilifer did a great job with writing the movie.

my race was not so special, again I was racing alone for 55 minutes. I had done 1:28 something earlier so I thought I could fight Vobler, but I could not push me below 1:29 this time. the first 15 minutes I felt good, but then I was getting tired and was near to lose concentration.

What a good race :yahoo:
Rons plan worked perfectly, we let Azaazaa get to the front and he managed to stay out of trouble 'til the end.
My race, after losing contact with the top five, was pretty boring as I was in no-mans land. Then Doors woke me up and kept me honest till the end. One minute I had a 12 sec lead and the next min he was looming large in the mirrors (I do look) and then in front of me.
We pitted at the same time and I managed to pull out another few seconds, but he soon closed the gap. Vobler then appeared waving his blue flag and there was a temporary ceasation of hostilities whilst he nipped through.
From then on it was one of the best races I've been involved in, but I managed to hold him off and enjoyed seeing him (in my mirrors) 'sniveling' across the finish line. :yahoo:
Down side of the race was Iron disappearing after a lap and Ben timing out so  early :crying:
More of the same please!
(The racing, not the disco's.)
