I feel this is partially my fault.
And I would like for you all to hear my side of the story since you obviously got Deloris' side, in which I totally understand.
Deloris was offline when the invites started, and it is stated that the inv are at 19.15.
I did not know before last night that she was played with both Deloris and Plight.
That is why I contacted her when I saw her online and asked her where deloris was.
I was already invited then and we had almost started.
I believe this incident was a one time error from all sides. I have never heard of any other previously occurances of this before.

Secondly, when a guildmember who has signed up doesnt show, they have been replaced imediatly. That is what happened last raid as well, when the raidleader didnt see Deloris online he got a replacement.

I completely understand why Deloris was upset by this, and I would have too if I where in her shoes.
But I also understand how the mistake happened. And thats what I believe it was, a mistake.

Edit: I also busted my butt off to get her back in the raid, but she logged out.

Right or wrong doesnt matter really, its about prevention for future, like pushing a few chat lines through guild chat calling for ppl online.

regarding the rank splitup,

since "social" raiding without an obligation to showup has been cancelling quite some number of raids, heres whats on my mind;

new rank called "raider" and "social" which replaces the single rank currently called "member"

raider rank:

every member with this rank is expected to show up for every official raiding night unless we are informed (genesis way? poll on forums and unless you vote that you aint coming you automatically signup)

has priority over social raiders for the raid spots on official raiding nights

must show up for 80% ? of the official raids per month to keep this status

has roll priority over social members during official raid nights if its a very good upgrade, officers+ml discretion

social rank"

has no obligations to raid whatsoever, not expected to raid

if for some reason an official raid is not full via the "raiders" then "socials" can ask to join the raid, they also have priority over non sog members to join these raids (sort of a reserve pool)

can apply to "raider" rank whenever they want to

this should atleast give us a clear view of how many dedicated raiders weve got, and what classes do we really need to progress further, cos atm its a very blurry picture with too much chance and probabilities

oppinions/ideas?

Not much to add, but damn you guys need to find some raid healers fast.  In the mean time, Spiritus had better be prepared to raid heal until he has reached his management-appointed target of recruiting 7 raid healers to SOG.

Spoke to Gore today for quite a while, we need to give him a bit more room to build his own style of leading, hes not done this for long and we are chocking him to much which what we want.

Also talked through the discussions we had during the raid, and we are ok now. Ill keep you posted.
