This is shaping up already to be a classic week on DeadMenRacing. No walls, loads of wide open spaces and lovely fresh air in the countryside. Roll up, roll up all you dMr awol types. :yahoo:

My favourite track. Both ways. Doesn't really matter what car...can be bit slower too and still fun to drive.

These cars are a bit fiddly to get right, have to be very smooth, but they're quick enough. Nice track, not used to it backwards, a couple of the corners always catch me out as i hit the apex to early, but i'll get there.

Nice to see Aqu's back and he's damn quick already!

Yep, some fun corners. T1 gets tighter and it is surprisingly hard to get perfect every time (I don't know if I get it right any time). Then the second last corner...god help you if you turn bit too late as it seems to have like a magnet pulling you out of the track.

Are you still laughing at it? :)

I'm near to miss the 1h race on thursday. I'm travelling and will be back earliest 1h before the race start, but if anything goes wrong, I might be too late.

I have to say the long race doesn't go to history as one of the most exciting races.

I had only 2 noteworthy incidents. In lap 2 (?) Iron bumped me in the rear end at T1 and lap 23 I was sloppy and messed the back corner chicane, hitting tyre stacks and going to grass.

The qualifying was much more...memorable. I had a good lap time when Doorman decided to restart the qualifying in 5 minute version :taz: I used R4 (front)/R2(rear) setup in the qualifying too and it took me 2 laps to get the tyres work best so I had maybe only 1 chance to make a good lap time. So I was grinding my teeth and pushing the mouse button my fingers white :)

True, not very exciting, except that overtaking attempt from me, at the last corner. The bump was the result of a short brain outage, I gained on Aquilifer on the finish straight, but didn't manage to achieve an overlap, so I thought I shouldn't choose the inside line. So I quickly went back behind him, and then came the braking point, but my screen was filled with Aqui's butt (yes, it's that big :lmfao: ), err, I mean with his car's butt, and since I judge my braking points on the distance from the corner, the inevitable happened.

So I dropped behind a bit, then made a few grass adventures, dropped behind more, etc. All in all, I think I overshoot T1 3 times. Then in the pit, I set my tyre change percent to 50%, I wouldn't thought that my rear tyres are worn more than 50%, but they were, so they changed all tyres, which cost me more time. I was worried that I wouldn't make it even before Deetz.

Onto the next combo. My first rallycross with dMr, yay!

That's because I was absent! ;)
