Title: Help , ISDN USB to ISDN PCI
Post by: Red_Thunder on June 23, 2003, 09:18:03 PM
Hi , i recently reformatted and i lost everything [obviously]
and when i came to get my connection back i could only use my usb line to connect
{i use BT Highway and i use Freeserver for isp .} as my PCI card wouldnt connect for me. I used to use PCI card b4 reformat nps at all

So my problem is that i cant get my ISDN PCI to dial successfully
I downloaded drivers etc and checked if the card was broken etc.
and it still has a problem connecting !!!

If you think u can help me! email me saying " yeah i can " or something
email : king_hemeroid_i@hotmail.com   { my MSN too}
I can then give you more info on the problem error msg's etc :P

bit of a long shot but hey , im screwd usb sucks and i get choke on server :(
My pci card is an Eicon Diva

Cheers

Last time I did this I remember that my Fritz card was particularly sensitive about having its drivers reinstalled and it took me 2 or 3 goes to get the thing to install AND work.  Might be worth taking the card out, uninstalling driver, disconnectioning USB and uninstalling driver; then on a clean system follow the driver instructions carefully - I seem to recall that mine had a funny order to do things in and it was only when I actually followed the instructions precisely that it worked.  Funny thing that about instructions

If I think of anything more significant I'll let ya know.....GL

i just randomly hovered over my driver icon and it said
" Both B-Channels  down "

On my line status it says

Line Status

D  - L1    - B1 -  B2

I guess i supposed to connect through one of the B lines
for PCI card connection hmmm
All very intresting . Maybe another expensive phone call to the Freeserve n00bs :P
