Finished on normal (at last) now going through on "delta" setting with the graphics tweaked for maximum eye candy: Crysis Ultimate Tweak Guide (http://www.incrysis.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=11614)
Finished it at normal too, waiting for the delta setting till i get a computer that can do all the eye candy stuff and like not die on me :)
Must admit I'm not getting a very high framerate (20 to 30) but its playable.
I had to tone down towards the end of the game away from all on high, my computer didnt want to render it properly.
I managed to run the demo at a playable framerate at 800x600 with all settings on low. I'm definitely waiting to upgrade before I buy this, though I do want to play it

/rant
Knowing what rig you have I would have to dump my case in the bin and start all over... just to make it through the installation
/rant off
Note that those rates are for 1280x1024 with everything set to VERY high.

Crysis v1.1 Patch

Description:
Fixes:
Damage dealt to vehicles when shot by LAW has been made consistent
F12 (screenshot) now works in restricted mode as well
When player melees during gun raise animation, their gun will not be in a permanently raised position anymore
Memory leaks and potential crashes
Updates:
Improved SLI / Crossfire support and performance
Improved overall rendering performance (DX9 and DX10)
Enabled VSync functionality in D3D10
Tweaks:
Reduced grenade explosion radius in multiplayer
Clamped water tessellation to avoid cheating in MP
Reduced LAW splash damage vs. infantry in PowerStruggle mode
Slowed Rocket projectile speed down in MP slightly
Rockets were highly imbalanced in MP anyways, so this nerf patch was a good thing ;)
Please note that applying the patch screwed up all my V1.0 saves. Additionally, starting a new game in 1.1 and then saving means that when you reload the game it doesn't reload properly so you cannot continue :(

Aint that what ppl all do anyway? :narnar:
I quess ill install it too now then, was a bit reluctant to part with my saves. :)
Just finished it :). A few annoying problems but in all a very good game. I look at crytek's game's as extended tech demo's with a high pitch and exciting storyline. Imagine what our pc's will be like when these graphics are the norm and running at 300fps :D.
You finished it?
Well done Ghost, the 2nd half of the game bored me to tears... I stopped playing it shortly after I got out of the frozen Sphere.
Does it get better then?

Nope only worse...:flirty:
from the sphere it kinda slides down towards your typical arcade shooter level, with a big endboss followed by the bigger end boss.
Thats a shame... I guess its going to CEX then... Assassins Creed here I come!
Electronic Arts today announced that Crysis Warhead, a new Crysis game, this time in the works at Crytek's Budapest studio and built on a new, enhanced and optimized version of Crytek's CryENGINE 2 technology, will hit the store shelves in North America on September 16th and in Europe on September 12th. In Crysis Warhead, players will don the Nanosuit of Sergeant Sykes, also known as 'Psycho', one of the most memorable characters from Crysis. More brash and aggressive than his Delta Force squadmate Nomad, players will experience Psycho's parallel story during the events of the original game, finding that life on the other side of the island is even more intense and explosive than they ever could have imagined. Aside from this new single player campaign, Crysis Warhead will also feature new multiplayer content. The official website (http://www.crysiswarhead.com/) is now live.
