It doesn't say how much sleep he got, but |I assume its not a lot. I remember how tired/strung out I felt after 3/4 days with little sleep.

That managed to pick up when he stopped for the ferry but not said he was driving most of the rest of the time. (It mentions "Significant stops" so I guess the Tacho would have shown pee/coffee breaks too.
(I know the police are stupid, but they'd probably notice if he looked rested.)
