I had a read, seems nice enough :)

QuoteGeneral

* /timetest is a command that can be run to provide information on game performance. /timetest 0 turns the command off. When the command is issued, the next time a player uses a flight master to travel, certain statistics will be measured and displayed at the end of that flight. All weather effects and spawns are shutdown during the test.
this is like greek to me.. any explanations?

Ice Block (Frost) is now available on the trainer to all mages at level 30.

that seems rather OP to me. Correct me here if i am wrong but that seems like beeing able to cast holy spells in shadowform.

About that timetest thing. It seems like a game performance meter. It will work if you use a gryphon master to fly somewhere and then that meter starts running from takeoff to landing and then displays the results.

Getting Iceblock is the only way a non deep-frost mage can survive longer than 5 seconds in PVP.

A mage with the burst of a pom pyro and some of the surviveabilaty of a frost mage is a scary thought tbh :sideways:

Aye but us PVE mages will still be without the AP POM bit of the AP POM Pyro, which still makes us dead.

Addendum to the patch notes added a few hours ago:

Quote from: BlizzardAlchemy: Fixed an issue with Transmute Mastery where the proc rate was lower than intended.
....and this would explain the results I was getting (or total lack of them) and why I ended up giving up Transmute Mastery and re-training to be an Elixir Master instead.  W2g Blizz, again.

Things are looking up for the Mages, in PvP it seems.
Even if they have missed a few minor things, like a tin vein in Ashenvale, that is impossible to get, still a useful patch. If I may say so.

That iceblock really helps us non-frost mages, it gives atleast little more time! :yahoo: Just need to wait for tommorow to test it.
