I got the same response from them myself over some piece of kit or other. Won't deal with them now. Try this LINKY (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GC-013-LG&groupid=702&catid=288&subcat=)

Yup. Common story.

I had bit similar story when I was ordering my computer parts. When I ordered my gfx card it was said to arrive Dec 20th (larger shipment in store).  Around 18th they changed the info on their page to Dec 31st. So I called them and asked is that date verified, how many do they get and am I among those who get it that day. Answers were: "no", "no idea" and "we'll see" :taz:

Didn't want to wait and ordered it from other store. I probably should have ordered the other parts too, because it was bit same thing with the HDD - wanted WD, but had to take Samsung or I would be still waiting for it. :sideways:

If you can, order it from another place.

I'd have taken Samsung in the first place, been great little drives.

Some sales support is appalling to be honest, from a number of places. It's nice when you find a place that's good, like I've found Specialtech to be.

I make use of my free shipping from Scan so I tolerate their sometimes wayward delivery and stock estimates.

And buy a wheel!

Oh, you tried:doh:

I used to deal with the company in Doormans link all the time, but after a couple of friends had big troubles getting stuff replaced  :rant:I only use them when I have to now.

I won't use WD drive's after I found out that some have hardware DRM on them, and the Samsung Spinpoint drives are excellent. :thumb: my last few drives and purchases for friends have all been Samsung.

Sorry to hear of you troubles.

Only one issue with Dabs. Similar issue to those already posted. I ordered some memory, looked to be in stock when ordered, it didn't arrive,  Grr.
I rang them and they said they would ship some when the next batch came in......but with the newer more expensive price. ***.... so I cancelled.

I haven't used them since.

You only find out how good a company is when you have a problem. Anyone can shift boxes.

Dabs used to be excellent. They got successful and BT bought them.

I now use Scan, yes I've had probs with Scan but they do try hard to sort it for you (in my experience)
