Please accept our apologies for the loss of service this morning. It was caused by our hosts core router failing at about 4am. Although there is a reduncy system for reasons unknown it did not kick in.
A completely new router was installed at about 10:30am and services started to come back online shortly afterwards.
This is excellent service IMHO and may also bring the added benefit that the recent ping spikes etc that we have been experiencing might have been the result of the old router slowly dying - and as we are now connected to a spanky new one these should hopefully have disappeared.
See you on the hook tonight

All the praise should go to the guys at Brighstar (our hosts). We sat back and watched them work (well to be more accurate we weren't even there!)
Great service Brighstar
Could this have been the reason behind all those disconnects on Live for Speed last night?
