Netherspite on farm now after that kill today (took 5 or 6 attempts to figure it out) and were so excited we went an killed Rokad the dog animal boss. We were going to 10 man SSC but thought everyone else would feel left out.

With your current progress in Gruul's Lair, visiting SSC is not as far off as many think.
YEAH BABY
the big blue dragon (Netherspite) is history now
We figured it out now was only a matter of time...
well done everyone :P

Yeh i believe we could definitely have a good shot at the first 2 bosses. Once we have gruul down (without wipes) then it'll be a 45min trip to gruul followed by an hour or two to SSC.
Tbh I think you would also want to look at VR. Lurker is fun but it takes almost an hour to clear the trash (skipping Hydross unless you got your 4 tanks geared up and 2 kitted out in expensive resistance sets). Magtheridon is ok if you have good dps and can bring 4 warlocks initially (3 when you get the hang of the fight). The nice thing about VR is that he is a reasonably straight forward boss and he drops Tier 5 shoulders not Tier 4. It is something I am sure the officers are discussing.
TL.
I am with TL here, looking at the first bosses in SSC and TK i would sayd solarian and VR are more easy then hydross and more easy doable since hydross requires tanks with nature and frost resistence kits.

Lunares
All of which will shortly be supplied from holy's BS store
:roflmao:
your looking at a cost of about 1000g per set per tank, with 4 or 5 needed. It gets expensive rather fast.

Per set from my head you need 6 nethers (for Frost + Nature Set) = 24 / 30 nethers if you need for 4 / 5 tanks (if they're plate wearers though)
