We currently have the MH setup for 25min maps.
How would you feel about changing that to an MR format? In other words the map would change sfter a set number of rounds. My initial feeling is that if we had the server set for MR11@4mins then:
1. First team to win 6 rounds wins the 'map' (obviously).
2. It would encourage teams to play with more stealth and less 'all rush left'.
3. We'd (hopefully) get some juicy 'it's 5 all with one round to play' type scenarios.
Thoughts?
Sounds a good idea to me Oldie, especially with the bigger numbers now on regularly, will help boost the team spirit with those new to the server.
Give it a go, lets see how it plays :)
It amazes me how often i sit here realising that some particular aspect of the dMw/MH game could and should be improved, but not being able to quite put my finger on exactly how to go about it - and then, like some mindreading venerable savant Oldie comes along and says 'how about this?' usually followed by an idea so simple and obvious i wonder, like many an unsuccesful genius "why didn't i think of that..." 8O
Though it tires me of having to say this, yes, i think that's another good idea.
:D
well said dude! :D
i say a little more than mr 11 eg mr 13 or 15 so that its a little more than in normall games, ive played on the BY 12 rounds servers and is just goes by 2 quickly
good call
Another light just went on.
Why don't we put the map boundary information in the text file that gets used to show the map objectives when you join a map or try to swap teams?
He's on a roll!
Is there any way on these forums i can bind "Yep, good idea, Oldie." to a key? Save me a lot of time.... :D
"Fetch me the ceegars!! we are going to have a presentation" :D
