anyone who likes a good thriller should enjoy this one (http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/vantagepoint/high.html) when its released in a few weeks time. Should be better than Cloverfield which sucked nutsack.

This trailer has been in the cinemas for ages. I've still not seen a release date on them. Strange how they've had the trailer ready for so much longer than the film.
Also Cloverfield was a good film. Refreshing change to alot of scary films where they give everything away through terrible dialouge and forced scenes with the monster(s). Though I prefered Jumper, it's pretty good too...but seemed it was waiting for a plot twist that just didn't come.

Yup, worth seeing. But there are some parts in the plot which I still haven't worked out (and not in a "It's very complex" kind of way, im' not sure they thought about it)

Aye, I'd second that.  Jumper was good fun, complete hokum, but still good fun.  Jamie Bell was great, Sam L Jackson is always watchable, and Rachel Bilson is drop-dead gorgeous.

Just a shame they didn't flesh out the back story of paladins & jumpers as that could have been a lot of fun and very interesting as a concept.  Unfortunately Hayden Christensen brings all the charisma and raw talent he brought to Star Wars :sideways:

Just saw Vantage Point and its pretty good. Nicely cut and definately worth a watch. Also saw Cloverfield which again was a really good film. Good special effects and plot :D.

What did you guys think of vantage point?

Jumper wasn't very good. The concept was good but the execution of that idea was awful. It is a flick aimed at the teen audience. Samuel L Jackson must have laughed all the way to the bank. Samuel L Jackson playing Samuel L Jackson ... sigh. 2/10

Vantage Point was was a decent movie. The idea again is very good and the executions is good for the first part of the movie. Then it switches to classic american hero saves the world action kind of movie.  I would recommend NOT seeing the trailer before watching the movie as it gives away a great deal of the plot. It is a decent thriller. 6/10

A work colleague of mine recommended Vantage point, he didnt really tell me what its about. All I know is, it's 1 story told from several different perspectives!?
and supposedly it is worth the watch.....
