I had a rather funny experience yesterday. I've got my undead lock in outlands now and there are a few quests that flag you for pvp. One was completed around the cenarion outpost so while I was there I handed in a few quests to those friendly druid types :)
Anyway, there I was talking to the quest givers and the next thing I know I'm doubled over unable to move. I was jumped by two ally rogues. Now, I was level 61 at the time and they were both level 59 I believe.
I was stun locked for about 10 seconds and kinda resigned myself to being killed which wasn't too much of a problem as I was soulstoned anyway.
Here is the really funny part though, I had my felguard out and I am soul linked so he takes some of the damage. I was stun locked but he wasn't. By the time I was free to move he'd already ripped one of the rogues to shreds and got the other down to 3/4 health so as I could then move again I stuck a few dots on and watched him die.
So result = me 70% health, pet 95% health. them = toast.
TBH this is my first pvp experience with a lock and I gotta say I was surprised at the outcome. I've been jumped before by rogues when I was playing my mage a lot and I died in seconds!
They were two levels below me but surely the two of them makes up for that?
Anyway, it was fun and I'd have loved to listen in to the chat that they must have had when they were ghosting back to their corpses!
Locks are imba, but rogues are a caster anti class, if they knew what they where doing youd be dead before the second stun breaks (i can do that solo, against locks that are far better in gear). So ye, ally noobs, like normal.
figured as much, was funny though :D
i always hated locks in pvp as a hunter but yes the allies are noobs at pvp cos they all think theyre amazing and can do it all on their own that really ****ed me off being a night elf lol
Aye same here, general pvp is pritty terrible. But once you get arena's going thats good fun.
