guys,
ok firstly sorry for not showing up last friday and this monday :crying: its due to my gateway server (its the one where i can access home and home apps from anywhere including PDA and holds my webpages and everything external), decided it would catch fire (there was smoke ok) after its northbidge decided to die a death, so in the interim after not being able to find a socket A MSI KT4 Ultra motherboard (even ebay let me down)..
so in the meat time i have had to decimate my gaming rig and turn this into the server. i am in the process of picking out new bits pretty much based on sn00ks but with smaller drivers (3x 160gig and raid 0 +1) and the 9800Gx2 GTX's, i like the new asus kit and with AMD sorting the B3 stepping i am game for spending a couple of K in dabs or one of the affiliates in the next week or so, in the meant time i am setting up my laptop as a gaming rig, installing steam and Bf2 but will have to make do with the 7400 256meg thats in it :crying:
so will be back and up to speed very soon and with new kit for the year..
BTW if anyone does have the MSI KT4 ultra with the 2 Sata ports and the IDE raid option fitted drop me a PM as may be interested...
the only thing i am upset about it the fact that i have lost all my save games from HL2 and every other save game but now the raid has been split and disks low leveled :doh:

the hunt is over, its hunting for prices these northerners i work with have rubbed off on me :lmfao:, pretty much the same as sn00ks barring the GPU's and the HDD's and case (sn00ks tastes dont fit in with my home office)
