Title: Help testing "Lost Password" function
Post by: Othbarty on May 22, 2008, 01:49:57 PM
Could some of you guys please help me test the "Lost Password" function of the raid sign up page?

I have had a incident where the mail didn't reach the recipient (a hotmail address) so if anyone here with a hotmail address could give it a test, that would be awesome :)

And on a sidenote, if you see something that should be altered or something thats not working, please let me know. It won't fix itself :P

Does your mail server have a reverse DNS entry? My bro had issues sending mails from his home server to my hotmail account, and we discovered that hotmail have started blocking mails where there is no valid reverse DNS for the originating server, as that often equates to a whored dynamic ADSL address running a spambot. Quite a few mail services have started doing this recently, actually.

Yes, the reversed DNS should be in order, but Ill take a look at it when i get home, just to be sure.
