i remember finding a page where i back in the days downloaded some insane resolution pics taken with hubble, were talking about 20000x15000 or something in that range, files were lige 150mb+
if anyone were to stumble over it at some point, please poke me :D

I found the same site back then and has been trying to find it again :sad:
Biggest pictures I've been able to track down are from the Hubblesite Newscenter (http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/), but they're "only" around 2000x1500 or like the one in the link, 5302x3805 (http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/archive/releases/galaxy/spiral/2007/15/image/a/warn/).

The pics from the site I remember were 100-150MB TIFFs. Those in the link are still awesome though. Amazing detail.
