for the past few days steam hasnt been letting me log in for some reason or another me password is right etc but i click log in and it just stays on that screen and all i can do is cancel i cant log in at all anyone got any insights?

Try the blob trick. Close Steam then delete the ClientRegistry.blob file in your Steam folder, then reload Steam.

Yeah, the standard trick is the .blob trick. Maybe look to see if you're firewall is blocking it. Or just reinstall steam and copy your games folder across if you're really stumped.

wasnt any of those bb :P the blob didnt work but reinstalling did cheers guys im back on steam again

new problem after i reinstalled all the games some of them keep coming up with, when i start them up, verifying files then it reaches 100% on it and just closes i tried reinstalling and it did nothing any ideas?
