are you getting this? ^^
noobs?
sc2 = starcraft 2.
imho its gonna rock :)
I think it will be very interesting if they manage to live up to the expectations. I will probably have a go at it.
It's been a while since SC1 hasn't it?
Not sure how long, but 10 years isn't exaggerating.
I think its going to rock. :D
Starcraft was (apparently) released on 31 March 1998. Though that is from Wikipedia, so it might not be right ;)
Hopefully, it'll be good. From the screenies it looks fairly similar graphically to Warcraft III, just sci-fi instead of fantasy. I'm assuming no use of hero units or such like in WC3 though, so it'll be a more 'pure' RTS. I never actually played the first Starcraft though, somehow it passed me by as I was playing C&C and the like.
As an aside, i'm not that bothered really, but if I want to be called a 'noob' and read posts with a complete lack of capitalisation and shortenings of words in a non-real-time format (i.e not IM) I can get that on pretty much any other forum out there, or go and play on a non-dMw game server. When I come to dMw, including the forums, i'm used to seeing a certain level of implied maturity in the things people say and the way they say them :narnar:

I'm pretty sure bam doesn't mean anything by his 'noobs' comment - it's his way of trying to be friendly I think. Having said that, yeah .. er ...yes we do (generally) have a better standard of communication on the servers and here in the forums.
For those of us who are perfect (Carr0t included ) then I suggest we gently encourage those who are less gifted than ourselves

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, i'm not all up in arms about it or anything (I mean, I *do* also post on other forums where it's far more prevalent), i'm just saying it does tend to stand out as an atypical dMw post.

Mockery?! Of me?! :crying:
It's a fair cop guv :)
yeah... we've gone off topic here, so i'll just continue with another post :P
i dont really think im fit for your clan, the only real reason im here is to catch up with jabbs :) you see, ive played cs for quite some time, and according to my exp team skill is very important (as in tcs), but its also necessary to be able to wipe out 4 opponents if needed. how do you do that? via praccs on aimmaps and deathmatches.
imho it would be a shame if dMw got raped in a war just cause the players didnt know how to frag when needed. when i first met jabbs it was on the [CsW] Aimserver, and we stayed there for quite some time :D (2 years?)
and if i call sum1 a noob, i dont mean it as a bad thing, christ we've all been 1. havin that said, noobs can also be shitloads of fun, as they do many weird things expd players would never do.
oh and them strats, or tactics.. rushing is a valid strat. and for instance, on the map cs_italy, the t limits are way 2 early if you ask me. back in 1.6 the best thing to do as t on that map was to have 1 - 2 players rushin the market, just to grab the easy frags, thus helpin ther team to victory :)
anyways, this is getting fairly long.
uhm oh yes :P
im not in dMw, i just play on dMw server if jabbs, or some other sexy beast is on :)
