Get it here (http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/) :D
So far, so good...
Cheers for sharing...:)
Some plugins may not work so check before you charge in ;).
I'll be waiting for firebug before I install. Have downloaded to help them with there record attempt though
Hmm, something is not right here.
It says "Firefox 2" version 2.0.0.14 on that link.
I guess the site has died and they've forwarded it to the regular site.
Hopefully it'll be back up before the day is over.
That leads to '2' :g: I've been running 3 beta for ages and no updates apart from Google toolbar. Maybe they pulled it at the last minute.
Try this link (http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/) instead (unless you really want the US English version)
How'd you do that? :g:

From Whiteys link I went to the homepage then scrolled to the bottom and selected English (British) from the list available
Wouldn't you know, the link is now to '3' :D You lot are pulling my plonker!
Hopefully this one won't crash constantly compared to the last update of Firefox 2. New user interface seems interesting, not as bad as I was lead to believe, although I do prefer the older one.
It's a shame Google Bookmark Sync isn't compatible with this new firefox version. Otherwise it seems to run fine.

nope, and it's no longer being developed by google either which is a shame.
I'm keeping an eye on weave (http://labs.mozilla.com/2007/12/introducing-weave/)
6,749,072 downloads when I last checked.

Google backup helps with storing all my bookmarks and various other browsing preferences. Looks like i might roll back to firefox 2 and wait for weave.

I've just installed foxmarks, that's handling my bookmarks nicely and works with ff3
While Firefox is of course a good bit of kit, I've already had a problem and I've only had it installed for a day!
Basically my 'back' and 'forward' buttons (nice that they are) disappeared.
Had to start in safe mode and choose option to Reset toolbar to defaults :g:

I have installed it too but all buttons are still here..no probs so far..

The buttons were when I installed but disappeared after a while
thxs
The beta was actually the default browser on my last Linux Ubuntu upgrade but as mentioned most plugins have not yet been upgraded. When they update 'bookmark sync and sort' plugin for FF3 I'll upgrade.
Only fault I have found is that I cannot access the firmware pages for my router (DIR-655) with FF3 although I could with FF2
I use IE to get to the firmware pages for now.

This IS weird. It's the other way round for me. :g:

I'm really enjoying the latest Firefox so far, it seems bug free and efficient. I especially like how you can save the tabs you have open when you are closing it.
Edit: Try dragging a picture. :D

Which IE does already ;-) (puts cat amongst pigeons ;-))

Never noticed that. :P Rarely use IE though to be honest.

It does (and has done) that. I'm just trying to wind people up cause I know we are a Firefox lover/IE hater outfit here
As a web developer I use both of course :eyebrow:
Though more and more I'm using FF. I think my percentage of use is probably 60/40 in favour of IE...
Awaits the flame war :norty:
Is it just me or is Firefox becoming one of those deals that knows best? Not only FF but Google too. They are not satisfied with their being the default search engine they want to install all manner of crap as well! :taz:
FF reset itself to tabs when I specifically disabled them, Google decided I didn't have enough of their crap enabled and tried to make me re-enable stuff!
It's late, i'm inebriated and I hate being messed about!
It would certainly be a shame if Mozilla and other Open Source software starts doing stuff that we haven't ask for!
That's Microsoft's prerogative! :g:
