This list would be handy if you’d like to change map from your console. Just press the ` (tilde) key and a small bar will appear at the top of your screen. Type “/map [mapname]†without the quotes, replace the [mapname] with a map below. The following applies to COD version 1.5 and below:
- mp_backlot (Backlot)
- mp_bloc (Bloc)
- mp_bog (Bog)
- mp_cargoship (Wet Work)
- mp_citystreets (District)
- mp_convoy (Ambush)
- mp_countdown (Countdown)
- mp_crash (Crash)

- mp_crossfire (Crossfire)
- mp_farm (Downpour)
- mp_overgrown (Overgrown)

- mp_vacant (Vacant)
The following maps are only available in version 1.6:
- mp_broadcast (Broadcast)
- mp_carentan (Chinatown)
- mp_creek (Creek)
- mp_killhouse (Killhouse)

If you want to see the whole console screen instead of the one line screen just press SHIFT and ` :) (although you might have to delete the silly character it leaves on the console line - seems to be a little bug but a quick BACKSPACE gets rid of it)

I was a bit confused with the names myself when looking at the list in console and the "real names". I bet they will stick like dust, aztec and inferno soon enough. :)
