Yep. Top class races in this combo. I don't like So tracks so much, but this small car fits the track nicely and for once it is fun to drive So track. :)

Sorry, I don't have one.

I'm bit disapppointed that the long race didn't offer same sort of close racing as the short ones. I hope you had more fun in the middle pack.

Maybe there was some mishap in the T1, because me and Colt got a bit lead there (or was it in the bustop chicanes?). I tryed to stay after thim, but he was bit too fast. I was maybe 4-5 laps within the distance, but then I couldn't keep up anymore.

At some point during the race I heard  someone had a broken engine and then another, so I started to shift more carefully because I though that maybe UF1 has a more sensitive engine in the new physics. I didn't spot any problems with my engine, but decided to take it slightly more carefully.

Did Sean have some problems, because he was 3rd at some point and then he dropped somewhere? In the end Deetz was chasing me, but I was estimating I should be able to keep him behind.

This time I didn't manage to turn my cur upside down even somebody was betting that. Bad luck for those who got a broken engine - I got one in the last XRR race and it sucks.

Congrats for all finishing and the winner. At least the short ones were great fun all the week if this wasn't so good.

Yeah, the mid week races and the team racing where a blast.  I did indeed get engine damage, Paavo, as did Oldie.  Was a bit disappointing for me. After months of having my races scuppered by controller issues it wasn't fun to have a similar issue with the G25.  Almost felt like spitting a dummy :dummy: ...almost :D .

Basically, I got about 30 minutes in to the race. On the following T1 I was shifting from second to third to go through the chicane, but I had the slightest amount of pressure resting on the stick and it went straight back to first (any pressure on the stick and it "locks", not allowing movement through the gates).  I went backwards from that point on. lost about 5-10 mph on the straights.

I did a bit of searching on the interweb yesterday and it turns out I'm not the only one who is having issues with the G25 shifter.  I found a fairly easy looking mod I could do where you replace the spring in the shifter with a stiffer one to stop it being pressed down so easily.  Anyone familiar with it? http://forum.racesimcentral.com/showpost.php?p=3821597&postcount=73

The first half hour was fun though, trying to hold off Andy and Dee :)

congrats to the podium takers.

This race was superb from start to finish.Quali went ok and i found myself in 7th.The first twenty odd minutes Sean,Dee & myself got some good battles going until Sean had some more bad luck and damaged his engine:sad:
Unlucky mate our Thursday nighty fights are getting fun.Look foward to a rematch  this week:yahoo:
Dee kept the race alive and kept pushing until he pitted.I thought  long first stint might give me an advantage so just kept going till about 10mins from the end.Great combo:norty:

I'd noticed in the week, that if you got on early and did a couple of races, it was very difficult for any body to overtake,so I had a great weeks' results. :norty:

I knew that in quali for the 1hr race I would be found out,  :sad:for fast I wasnt, but fairly consistent in the 32,s-33,s.

10th in quali so I knew I had a lot to do. The first 4 laps were OK, then I had a dice with Scratchy and we touched under the bridge, I did a 360 and saw Oldie & Vobler go screaming past. Totally off my rhythm I then hit the wall coming through the chicane and lost another few seconds Oh bugger.

I had the full load of fuel, so decided to go for a late a pit-stop, gaining as many places as I could. Scratchy came out of his stop right behind me but after 20 mins or so I had only opened a 4 second gap, so I bit the bullet and pitted. EarlHaz was closing rapidly over the last couple of laps, but I  managed to finish with some points (4) for 7th. Great combo, good weeks racing with a disappointing finale. How unusual for me.
