Title: Where to rent streaming movies?
Post by: delanvital on July 03, 2008, 07:09:31 PM
In Scandinavia, I know of

sf-anytime.com
cdon.com
Stofa netbio (dunno site yet)

If I am not prohibited by being a foreigner, what are the good British sites, if any? Or, other Scandinavia perhaps?

Any help greatly appreciated :)

I tried SF anytime a few years back and it sucked big time then. Maybe they have evolved since. I haven't looked at the renting market but you can find a lot of good movies on sales etc for £2-5.

What movies are you looking for. Maybe you should do a roadtrip to my house?

sf-anytime has abt 1,000 movies. I rented 2 movies, worked fine. I also rented 2 movies via cdon.com, they have a broader selection. They stream 1500Kbit with subs for 12-35 DKK (£1-3 approx.) On the latter they  also have a free movie a month, the present one being a dreadful combo of Brooke Shields and Tom Green with so dreadful direction it is almost fascinating. But he, they do talk and move their arms and legs sometimes...

If you invite, that's a deal :)
