I saw a TV program on it once. I was trying to guess what would happen if people disappeared all of a sudden, and it used the place as an example because all the people disappeared as soon as the reactor went up.
The radiation is back to sensible levels now and the wildlife in the evacuated zone is about 10x higher than before. People have a huge impact, it's strange to see nature taking over.

ahh yes :doh:, I remember seeing a documentry on this about a year or so ago and did ponder whether or not this was the same disaster, as i was thinking it happened in Russia, of which it did spread across into :g:
