Didn't you learn the winning stratergy in school? Played this so much on scraps of paper etc.

Hint: You get another go after each completed square, it's nice when that can be used to complete another box, and so on. Design your "maze" of rods so this is possible.

No, I didn't learn this in school, and yes, it is easy. I think I spent 10 minutes on two games :)
