Guys I'm trying to work out how many Admins we have you regularly play COD4 and want to Admin, Before I have to start looking down the ranks. Can you let me know if you can help and grab a copy of RconMax. Cheers

I'm happy to help and have RconMax installed.  I've only managed a couple of games on our server but will be on more once RL stops taking up as much of my time.

Aye me too as needed.

I only get to play a few times a week (For the sake of marital harmony and all that) but am usually around online at other times to help as needed :thumbsup2:.

I have it installed but I am not sure how much I will play CoD4 though. I could help out when I am on though.

I am playing regulary every nights, excepts now when I am working latenight shifts, but thats only for 2 more weeks, and I have 1 more nightshift left on the 2 comming weeks. Then its school again.

So, if you need any help at all, I am voulanteering (spelled?) to help if you need any. :)

Target is usually on and is a nice level headed chap, drag him in kicking and screaming. If he's not an admin, he should be of some description.

Hi all,
 
Yes, I was daft enough to volunteer to help admin COD4 and will get RconMax installed, but it won't be for a couple of weeks as I'm going on holiday tomorrow to spend 2 weeks in the sun in Turkey (near Dalaman).
 
I'm sure I'm going to need help and guidance with this admin lark and hope I won't let the standards slip (any further :narnar:)
 
Oh, and Benny thanks for putting my name forward ... :)

So I had a play with rcon last night, all works well for me.

I added some annoying server messages and then removed them because people were whinging.

We need to agree what messages we have. It's not public so we don't need forum, welcome etc. In truth do we need any?

Tried to private admin warn Lib when I left but it wouldn't have it. I'll try later.

the admin messages just seemed to appear a little to frequently, maybe remove some and slow the rate they appear and i think it will be fine, i think some are still relevent, such as no swearing on the server and so on...

I'm sure I've sent messages to myself to see how they appeared, but I can't remember if it was on this RCON or the first one we used. The message system definitely worked on the old one, you could see all messages sent.

Although I've connected to the chat system on the newer one I don't think I've seen any output from it.

Ah, that is a point, did you actually connect to the chat system, you have to specifically connect or set it to automatically connect in the newer release.
