Her's one of our long time members Deetz (DEETZIE!) doing his stuff at Oulton Park.

HERE (http://www.finnglish.co.uk/Stuff/OultonPark.rar) is the rest of his pictures. He's far to modest to post them himself.
Nice one Deetzie :thumb:

Damn, the graphics on Live for Speed are getting really sharp. In a year or two we will not be able to tell it from the real thing. Nice!
Great shots Deetz, :clap2:doing what you're good at; {Mode 'Renault Advert "Shakin an Ass" '.}
Nice pics Deetz, looks like it was a lot of fun. Wet and dry weather :D

Nice one Deetz
Out of interest what BHP is it? :dribble:
:yahoo:
What a fantastic day I had, from 9 am to 5 pm with an hour for lunch (7 WHOLE HOURS...unbelievable) I was sliding my car around for all I was worth.
On two highly polished tarmac rally stages (small) at Oulton Park race circuit, I had some of the best fun I have had in ages. The car is still in one piece, just a small scrape on the front bumper where I (ahem) moved a cone out of the way at speed.
Jewelz, 260BHP :-) with a 2.0 turbo. A couple of corners where off boost argh in 2nd or scream it in 1st...well till I got the hang of getting it in early on the handbrake and getting on the loud pedal early in 2nd.
I can still hardly wipe the grin off my face. :D

I have to ask - what do you pay for that? linky?
It was with a new outfit http://www.trackaction-online.co.uk/ and cost £120 for owners club members or £140 otherwise.
There could be another day in November, oh boy slippery when wet.
:woot2:

sounds like you had a good day
Fastest Car iv been in.. modified 1.2 starlet with some big a#$! turbo.. went 120mph.. :woot2:
but your car sounds sweet! I love watching drift vids and stuff like that! Trying to get my dad/brother to take me to a drifting event but they dont :sideways:
Except for the turbo what other mods you got?
Hi Jewelz,
The car is fairly stock.....hmmm :narnar:
1) Nismo suspension Kit, Strut Brace. (Its gotta handle)
2) Bigger front disks, semi race pads, braided brake lines. (You gotta be able to stop.)
3) Engine Mods. (200 bhp stock.... Gimmi some more grunt.)
Free flow exhaust, induction kit, front mount intercooler, colder spark plugs (power up to 240 bhp)
Boost controller, uprated fuel pump, V-Power fuel (power up to 260 bhp)
Stock turbo. The fuel injectors are now close to being maxed out, and are the current power bottle neck.
4) 17" Wider wheels and tyres for some grip and bling. (Some tatty 18" wheels n tyres for track day play.)
That's it, my play thing :thumb:
Steady on Deetz, he's only young! He'll be following you round like a puppy. :D
Hi
Deetz has forgot to mention my highlight of the day, During one of his drifts he lost track of where his steering wheel was pointing, when he gained traction we suddenly speared of track at 90 degrees travelled about 50 foot across the grass bouncing around. Unfortunately i haven got a picture, but honestly it was so funny.
Cheers D for a great day.:D

Stoo, I love you! :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
Ahem, of course I deny any responsibility for running a mere 10 feet off course when the wheel turned out to be 360 degrees off from where it I thought it was. :whistling2:
A bit more dramatic than when doing it in LFS.
The only surprise is that Stu waited this long to post this bit of embarrassing information. :haha:
Ive been spying in the sxoc forum to see if any photographic evidence turned up but lucky for D i havnt seen any.:crying:
Hello chaps, thought I would dig out this old thread as me and Deetz have been back to Oulton. Deetz was on passanger and photographer duty this time and I got to have a go as my car has been fixed.
Deetz let slip his offical photo taking duties as he was too busy blagging a ride off anything that moved, but luckily someone else did. Just thought I would share what I think is a cracking photo. Im pictue number 9 on the link.
Cheers Stoo.

Terrific steering technique! Or were you swatting flies? :D
It is hard to tell from that photo but if you notice where im looking thats the direction we were travelling in. Sideways before i even got to the corner so much fun!.
It didn't always go to plan one time i went in a bit hot and there was mud on the road. I stopped about 3" from the tyre wall. My eyes were on stalks.
A blooming excellent day. I spent most of the morning going round with Stu or his dad in Stuart's Mad Evo 7. Then I started codging lifts round in other people's car's. A total blast, lots of different cars and abilities.
The corner where that photo was taken of Stu, he really was almost completely facing the wrong way as he flicked his car into the hairpin, brilliant.
