That is just so wrong :crying:
Nothing that a bit of T-Cut won't fix
PEN
It couldn't happen to an uglier car! Not only that, the latent commie in me says they are completely decadent! :sideways:
ouch:doh:
If it was a Ferrari I would cry. It's not!
These modern Bugattis are terrible (EB110 and Veyron). The best looking Bugatti is type 35 imho. The only Ferrari I would feel bit sad was 250 SWB...and maybe GTO.
Ettore would turn in his grave if he saw EB110. I would be too shamed to drive those on street. But if I had T35, I would be happy.
I just need to post this, awesome video and makes my feelings rise up!
If I ever get alot of money I will buy one :norty:
Enjoy (http://www.metacafe.com/watch/447845/bugatti_veyron/)

Type 35 FTW. It's on my list of best evers along with the Ferrari 250 GTO

Aye, which is why Aquilifers "maybe" made me jump :)

The GTO is a nice car, but somehow I prefer looks of the SWB more :g:
I have been making my own type 35, so I can drive around...
It still misses the textures and shadows. The suspensions works and the steering system works (when you turn the wheel, the rod on the right side move forwards/backwards and controls the front wheel turning, i.e like IRL)

EDIT: oh yeah, managed to get the sound of the real original charged Bugatti inline 8 into it too: w00t2:
Nice vid of top gear, 400 kmph :O

I've seen this before and it's an amazing feat. I think he said that the car was really stable at those high speeds too!

You're a man of many talents. Drive around where?

That's a lighthouse. And yeah, I have made few Thelma and Louise stunts at the cliff.

Ah! I remember now. :)
anyone seen the teaser for the new TG? looks like they finally get the Buggati on the TG runway...i mean track
But don't forget that going 250mph is not 'THAT' difficult, they did it in the 1930's with auto union V16 (type C?) so can it go round corners fast, well, some people in the exclusive club already know the awnser

Yes, true.
At least at that time there were different classes: A,B,C... restricting the engine sizes. Also different records were for different distances, like 1km, 5miles, 10km,...100km, etc. Auto Union and Mercedes were fighting hard in the classes B, C and D before the war.
The cars were at first slightly modified versions of the race cars they used in GP races (kind of F1 of the time). Around early 30s and in the smaller classes the record attempts were often done at the AVUS track in Berlin, but bigger classses needed more straight and basicly done on autobahns and Frankfurt-Heidelberg (closed of course) being the common one.
The first time over 400km/h (and over 250 miles/h) was Rosemeyer in B class Auto Union (6.0 liters) in October 1937 (1km @ 406.321km/h -252.476mph)
That was beaten by Caracciola on January 1938 in B class Mercedes, setting records to 1km - 432.693km/h (268.863 mph) and 1mile - 432.361 km/h (268.657 mph). This is still the fastest speed recorded on a public road (2 way average, flying).
Auto Union had designed a revolutionary body for their B class record car, which used ground effect (!!) for the first time and 40 years before everyone else. It had wind tunnels under the car sucking it towards the ground. If their design was ahead of time, maybe their construction wasn't quite to the task - Rosemayer was killed in a crash when the car left the road, hit a stone distance marker and blown to parts flying hundreds of meters cutting trees on the way. There is a memorial on the sight still today.
Before the WW2 start the A class WR was around 595km/h (c 370mph) in 1km.
:taz::crying::taz:but its not as good as the new zonda. oh btw my other cod4 name is killzone177

Who was driving the A class? it's all very impressive and interesting!

Did you see how the Bugatti was driven? Lets just say he was extremerly careful with it around that track, although it still did better than I expected!
