I note that we have this interesting combo to overcome this week. I trust the races will not be over 6 or 8 laps but the winner will be the one who gets furthest around one lap.
I'm going to run a sweep on the number of 'guests' who stick around this week. I'm going for 4.:)Any advance?

if my memory serves me correct, the last time we raced the rac was round south city chicane
and it turned out to be very popular to guests and dMr:g:
i actually quite like the car, as its quite unique in its driving style
ok its deffinatley a hairdresser car, but can be quite rewarding to drive.

any one for a perm ? :narnar:

IIRC it was Fe Green :g:

The problem is setting it up. My current set sails left and right in long straights. And cornering...well lets just say I don't know if I should be curing the oversteer or understeer.

I've changed my mind.
This car is a total lump of $*$%^£)     $%&*.  :ranting2:
Parked up, engine off, handbrake on and neutral selected I swear the thing still would go sideways if you switched on an indicator.

I don't know about you lot but I thought it was a terrific nights Team Racing. Lots of fun, incident filled pit stops and complete bufoonery by me in giving up an unassailable lead by being 'funny':rolleyes:

It was indeed funny when 6-8 cars consistently drive long the corner before the split line and ending to the bunker :) ...also there was some imperssive drifting e.g at the last corner

Be prepared to send me your über setup when I join. I have done zero practise since sunday, so all I know about this combo is those ~10 laps with Race_S. But the combo is good, so it's gonna be fun.

Replay is up.

I'll save space and post my report here'
Scratchy, our coming together was my fault. You had the corner, fortunately you came out the right side of the contact. Apologies.
For the rest of it, I finished the race on a popping engine. I blew it somewhere about lap 3-4 and could do no more than a 2.08:85. Abject misery which was compound by obsolom congratulating me for finishing! "obsolom-dMrDoorman: Well done for finishing" I could only bring myself to say "Thank you"
Apart from that, I enjoyed the combo.
Well done hotshoes. :D

Great race!

I was racing someone the whole race. Oldie, obsalom and Scratchy, but it was mostly Oldie. Seems we did similar mistakes because we ended up side by side several times.

I had a short, miserable effort. Will just have to buy new kit. Comp is fine with a few connections. Once we get more than 10 people on, fps is down to 5-10 especially at the start when all are close together. I didnt know where I was relative to others and I'm terrified of wrecking others chances, so I exited rapidly.

Qualified 10th, missed the start so set off in last place, drove around and around, fell off a few times, had some good battles with people and finished 8th.

Qualified 5th.  Took it easy into the first corner and let Spudgun slip past. I kept behind him but was suffering from some lag, which made it difficult to get too close.  Did manage a pass on lap 6, and settled down to do some good laps to catch CrazyR1.

Unfortunately, I got attacked by the lag monster at around the 30 minutes mark and lost connection.  :ranting2:

Was fun while it lasted. Well done the rest of you.
