Although complaints against drivers are fortunately a rare thing on dMr I thought it would be a good idea to formalise a complaints procedure.
I propose that in the event of perceived 'wrong doing' of any description the first thing you should NOT do is react, especially on VC. Bite your tongue and get on with it. More often than not, an apology is immediate and we go on our way.
Something that iRacing has taught me, is that if someone hits you in the rear,
you get a x4 penalty. END OF STORY, live with it! Once you come to terms with that, a peace descends. :)
If there is no satisfactory resolution to your hurt, make a note of the driver in question, the lap you are on and the approximate time the race finished.
- PM me with a brief description of the event, the time and lap.
- I will review the replay from every viewpoint and make a decision on cause/effect/blame and will PM you my result.
- I can absolutely guarantee impartiality
- If you are not satisfied with my decision I will ask another admin to review the incident. That one will be final.
- If you are found to be the culprit, accept it gracefully.
For the time being we'll only implement this for the 1 hour race on Thursdays as I will be on and I automatically keep replays. Should we need to expand this idea to times when I'm not on the server we'll implement a method of uploading your replay.
As I said at the beginning, I don't expect I'll/we'll be bothered too much by this as we're all such nice peeps. :D

Yeah, we are. From now on we give the trophies and disqualify you 2 hours after the race by the official race jury :narnar:
