Title: BlackAdder is so great we've NICed it twice!

Hi there,

Just a heads up.  Thanks to the endless generosity of TeaLeaf, a nice new 3com NIC is heading my way for blackadder.

The 3com will be used for the games running on BA.  The current nic will receive a new ip address and will take over all ftp.deadmen.co.uk and //www.deadmen.co.uk traffic hence no performance hit owing to web or ftp access.

I'll prob do the work late saturday 9th Aug night.

I'll make a public announcment nearer the time.

awww gee shucks :-)

BTW, next saturday is looking more certain now....  chances are it will be around 10pm - late time.  It will mean about 15 mins downtime for blackadder.

Stryker, you ought ot post notice of the down time in the Announcement section of the forum once the work time is confirmed.  Otherwise we'll lose the players that are usually on the Hook at that time of night.....
