Right hopefully i will have a beta key by the lan for the above game. I have the beta client setup so we could if we wanted to if enough people get keys from the site play this at the lan as well as cod 4.

Thought i'd post it up

Your beta key will be found at fileplanet beta keys (http://www.fileplanet.com/betas/keydisplay_test.aspx). Thats where mine was :)

I followed GMJR's link, signed up but got an error in registering.
Seems they have more problems with that so I had to email them.
Hope I get one before the LAN...

The key in the fileplanet account section is f all use, it has 16 characters but you need 20.

When will the Beta start and how long will it last?
The Beta is tentatively slated for the end of October and will conclude prior to the game’s
November 11th launch. As soon as we approach the launch of the Beta, we will notify

How many levels are in the beta?
There will be three playable levels in the Multiplayer Beta; Castle, Makin, and

What is the maximum level in the game?
The highest level you can reach in the Beta is 40, but don’t let that stop you from
achieving your very best! Once the retail game is released you can achieve up to level 65,
giving you the ability to enter Prestige mode. Activate Prestige mode to reset all your
stats, but gain a badge of honor. Ten prestige modes mean a total of 650 levels to
achieve!

for some reason i just got  pc beta code through after i preordered an xbox version and then signned up to the site to get it :) so i now have the beta on 2 systems

when you are dl it click on the COD website they will ask you to register and then give you a code or will give you the code and then get you to register.

The system seems to be shagged :(

I just logged out from CoD website then went to http://www.callofduty.com/beta/ and created a new account with a different email address. I received an email from CoD asking me to click the link to verify and when I did it brought up a webpage and gave me a key. It didn't do that when I did it the first time.

Suggest logging out and creating new account :)

Bloody yanks...
Can register with Netherland...but then they only allow American adresses (as in states and such)...
 
For the rest as BB said, reregistering finally gives the key..
 
OB'S TIP; SAVE THE KEY!!!
I had the same problem but allready decided to print it out.

When you see your key online it says that an email will be sent to you with the key details included. I didn't get that email so make a note of your key.

Yes keys can be used online as well as on lan!

I am under the impression their systems are heavily overloaded and so there is long delays for emails confirming your beta key. I got mine this morning, so emails may be sent a few hours after your initial registration.

Has everyone got a key/ downloaded the client yet?

I have the client and we can put it on a pen drive to pass round to people at the lan. However its essential that people get their keys now whilst they are still available!

have the key, but  i've been struggling with their server and my connection for the client !!!
 can i just grab it off one of you nice chaps at the lan :flirty:

Just had a little run round the available maps and I hope the finished article is as good as CoD4. This looks more like Disneyland than the European theatre 194~! I expect it'll turn out ok though. :g:

finally got it downloaded and well first impressions very similar to cod4 just not as polished yet. like doorz said its a bit american war film-ish but seems to have potential.
quite like the few maps that i encountered slightly larger than in cod4
not sure about the tanks thou seem a bit overkill to me !!!:blink:

Saw a tank and got shot by it...
 
Everytime it's seems my key is allready in use and I get disconnected...Annoying!

help!!! it doesn't work :crying:

when i try to start the game,there comes a message with:
Call Of Duty World at War Multiplayer Beta has Stopped working,
Windows is looking for a solution...

any ideas???
