when? how about 20th of November, that way you've accumulated enough sleep to lvl all your mains from 70-80 in one go :P Besides the first week the servers will be more down then up me thinks :(
I'll go to the stores around 10 am, during my morning break to pick it up, seems Free Record Shops has some kind of deal, giving 50% of on the strategy guide or something :)

I'm working on the same assumption. I've not booked time off till the 21st. Getting a long weekend to do some levelling after the servers have stabilised.

I couldn't be bothered camping the websites waiting for it to come into the system and be preorderable, so I wandered into my local Gamestation before any of the sites had it listed, and put my name down for a copy. Turns out I was the second name on that store's list. Just phoned them up, and got a somewhat disturbing answer. I quote:
"It has indeed turned up. You're the second name on the list, and I have your copy right here, all wrapped up in it's cellophane and looking beautiful, while I stroke it."

Of course, one of my mates works in that store and I have no idea what he sounds like on the phone, so it could have been him winding me up ;) Whatever, i'll be picking it up at 9am tomorrow. Will be a half hour or so late into work I think. And WoW works under Linux on Wine, so I know what i'll be spending my lunch break doing...
If the servers are up by then...
My CE arrived half an hour before close of business. I am happy. Supplies for the evening are in, drinks chilling in the fridge, copius supply of snacks in the cupboard. I am prepared.
Will most likely be heading into Howling Fjord as I suspect the masses will go to Borean Tundra via Stormwind. I'll be going straight into instances for the first couple of hours until the bulk have gone to bed for the night, then will be levelling through.

BTW I Tanked kara last night as a special invite, till 2am in the flipping morning and got asked to join another guild!(i reckon sheepy put them up to it to get rid of me)
The raid was great fun until we tried Prince??? and got our arses handed to us on a royal plattER. I hope you pick up on some of these subtle quips.

Nipped down to Gamestation and got my CE copy. My mate's copy also turned up in the post. Shiny! All nice and installed on the work machine, although I had to install IE6 in linux to get the 'Accept' box on the EULA to un-grey :blink:
Now, how do I go about getting my Frosty? With my TBC CE I had a card with a code that I had to send off to France (shoulda been able to enter it in-game, but Blizz messed up the European copies). There's no card with Wrath, so where do I go to get my undead dragon?
I've not actually authed my account yet, just installed Wrath, so I dunno if i'll just log in and it'll be sitting in my mailbox.
Also, for info, 2 bugs friends of mine have found so far. Firstly, several people have found that the game didn't check and allow them to create a Death Knight on their server until they had first created a new level 1 character, kinda like the server need a new character creation before it did the 'Is valid for a DK?' check (you can delete that character straight away though). Secondly, even though there wasn't any significant patch for Wrath (the installer actually seems to drop your version back *down* to 3.0.1, and then it reapplies the previous patches up to 3.0.3), all the addon settings for at least one of my friends got reset. You have been warned, back up your *** directories.
