=[dMw]= v PnS (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=25247)  9 -15

dMw  T 7  PnS  CT 5

dMw  CT 2  PnS  T 10.

Our first match since ages wich whe lose, but it was great fun after all.:)
Whe started good cos whe won the knives round and choose T too start.
The score was 2-0 for dMw when the trouble started.
Mats didn't get the server right some configs aren't working some off that.
So whe decide too play on there server.

Whe lose the knives round, and started as CT this time.
After some rounds whe noticed they where using more autosnipers then it was accepted in the challenge.
But at this time the score was 6-1 for them.
Whe did won one more round so it ended in 10-2 for them.:)

Second half was way beter then the first one.
Scored some rounds as T.wich whe beter play as CT.
In some way i think T is always beter too play dunno why but eej.:g:
The score at the end was 7-5 for us.

I think whe did play well after all it was a long time whe have played.
:D
So well played all,was fun too be there..

That's pretty much how it went.  Don't know why but I played the worst I've played in years in the first half (as CT covering A).  I was something like 1-10 and it was very depressing :(

I'm not saying I lost it for us but I did feel bad about my performance and will understand if I don't play in the team again.

Played ok in the second half as did we all.

Generally a good experience first time back in a proper match.

Gratz to you all

Its not about playing well or badly its about those who are prepared to play and to have fun doing it.

Well done ALL

unlucky fellas:D

I would've been around for the match if needed desperately, but I had a bit of a hectic situation developing at home (nothing serious, but distracting nonetheless)

I know why you lost, we usually never win the kniferound. :lmfao:
Unlucky for the rest but remember, we're just getting back into matches.
Any tactics that worked, didn't work?
Still, not a bad result as a first match.

I'm hopefully up for the next one.

Tactics that worked:
We (at dMw) are pretty good at voice comms and seemed fairly organised as far as who goes where etc.

Things we need to work on:
1) I felt we (definitely me anyway) were a little inflexible. In matches we should feel freer to go 'OOB'.  There were a couple of occasions when I felt under pressure from the opposing team and found my self routed to the spot (keeping in bounds).

Therefore I would suggest that we can roam the map a little more, while we obviously need to stick to the objective, we shouldn't feel that we can't go outside of our usual movement areas.

For instance, as CT on dust 2 the enemy was spotted at B and rushing. I was at A long.  I almost went back up long A and through spawn.  I just stopped myself and went through T spawn.

2) Let's work on buying if we can.  For this first match we agreed that we should just buy whatever we could afford because it would be too complicated otherwise.  This was fine for our first match and maybe the next few but I reckon we could work on those tactics in the future.

For instance, two or three could 'buy up' and the other two do ECO for a round (or two).  This way at least half the team are equiped.

Additionally, one very important buying tactic is to make sure you know who has bought a kit (as CT).  This way if you are one who hasn't bought one, you can remember this and go check your team mates dead body for kit, you might need it (eh Snokio )!

That's all for now :D

It was usually one defusekit on each bombspot if possible or all have one if money allows.

I know about the OOB-thing, funny to read that again. :)

Thanks for posting Jabbs.

I noticed that too, I sometimes forgot that the boundaries weren't applicable!

They stopped using them the second time I told them. It was a friendly game. No point in getting worked up. Take it as a learning experience.
