I have to share this with you all. This morning my wife and I went off to Lunnen to the finnish Church guild Christmas bazzaar. Now most of this no one but our Suomalainen friends will understand but....We bought makkaraa, silliä, piimää, sinappia, mustaa leipää, salmiakkia, suklaata ja hapankorppuja.
I also bought, much to my disgust, a pipo (a wooly hat) for £15! Daft or what? A thoroughly nice morning. :)
In the evening a terrific games of cs:s.
I'm off to bed now.

It's in the Finnish church in Albion street, Rotherhithe, south London.
I'm not sure if we can believe you Ron, can you post a picture of you wearing the pipo? :narnar:
I wrote it badly, my bad. But I ment where is our British bazzaar in finland, where we can buy your local treats and such. I think we need one :)
Sounds like an business opportunity for you, all you need are kebabs, hoodie tops and binge drinking for your slice of Britishness bizzare.

You've heard the expression 'A prat in a hat'? Well Arja and I have coined a new one. In Finnglish 'A V*ttu in a hattu'. It makes her laugh anyway. :g: Not sure why.

You are making the assumption that we *have* local treats, rather than just nicking all the best stuff from other countries years ago back when we owned them all :narnar:

I don't like rally either so it's ok for Doorman not to like it:D Actually I don't like any driving games except for NFS:g: Usually finnish men are crazy about cars.. But hey! I'm not a warm blooded finn. My dad's Norwegian so I'm allowed to be a bit different:lmfao:

Nice post Doorz, thanks for sharing. I've been to that church sometime in spring 1997 when I was traveling around Britain, I bet it was Easter then.
Don't drink and eat all that piimä and rye bread at once, or you get bubbles in your stomach. Silli is good, I have it always in the fridge.
Oh my socks we've got another one from Oulu here:yahoo: I'm not alone up here in the north:lmfao:

Hi WhiteWolf. (I'm not a petrolhead either, but simracing is the best sports I know.)
