I suspect most if not all of you will either already know about this, or are more likely to log onto WoW than check the forums, but anyways:
23rd November marks the 4 year anniversary of WoW coming out in the US. As such every person who logs on on that days gets a special non-combat pet in the mail, courtesy of Blizzard. Specifically, a polar bear cub like you've probably seen running around Dragonblight and other areas of Northrend with it's parent.
Technically it runs on server time, so it'll be there from 11pm on the 22nd to 11pm on the 23rd. It's account-bound, so no need to hit up every character, but it won't be there if you don't log on and grab it today. Maybe you don't care, but I love all the various non-combat pets available.
As it happens I knew nothing about this, so thank you!

we accidentally discoverd this last night when i zoned and got the achivevment of "blizzards 4th birthday"
I got the bear, would have preferred a combat pet :boxing:
