Can anyone comment on this board or DFI (not MFI!) in general? I'm seriously considering picking one up.

oh and one of these...

and this..

and a Barton 2500 which I will overclock to the tits.

I like the flexability of the board but not sure about the reliability.. I know DFI manufacture for other companies but I'm not sure whom.

The cooler looks interesting and if you get it can you post some temps.

I run one of these (http://www.overclock.co.uk/customer/product.php?productid=16703&cat=455)

Underload my case temp is about 33 and cpu is 46 at idle this drops considerably.

that cooler looks suspiciously like what SCAN had bundled with their P4 deal on the today only page.

That mobo looks excellent. Perfect for that modded look without the hassle of modding ;)

Make sure you don't buy the Aero 7 you need the 7+

There was a problem with the clip on the 7 being too large..

It does indeed look nice, but as with any mobo you need to check all the specs line up with what you want.

As for speed it seems real good, but then form the tests I have seen pretty much all of the mobos are within a pico-second of each other anyway and you may not notice thye difference.  I tend to buy a mobo based on features (LAN, firewire, RAID, SATA etc) and then BIOS flexibility (overclocking options for FSB, all the buses, voltage adjustment etc).  This one looks good for that although the max voltages are not as high as some other mobos.

Anyone going to try it?

I'm ordering later this week or early next.

I've found the performance BIOS so I'll be able to overclock. TL I'll need your help at the beginning of next month.
