We may be carrying out some maintenance on the server hosting "Meat Hook" and "Baldrick" this Saturday 9th August.

I'm afraid at this time its a wide window.  I expect work will be carried out somewhere between 8pm-10pm.  The work will involve a 15-20 min outage of service.

So if your playing on the hook and the game goes bye byes this Saturday my appologies, have a beer or something it will be back soon.

Of course this would have been a prime time for peeps to use my server but my motherboard failed last weekend and i have only today got my server back online - nightmare :(

Anyway, it's running again (hopefully a bit more smoothly) so peeps are welcome to play

I've upped the spec a bit too - its gone from a PIII 600 to a PIII 866 and the memory has gone from 768Mb of PC100 to 1Gb of PC133 so hopefully peeps will find it a bit more playable ;-)

Don't you just love cascading old kit down the line?

So if anyone wants a Slot1 PIII 450 or a Slot1 PIII 600 then PM me - they would form the basis of a decent home server. I've also got plenty RAM and a couple of disks.

nice one blue spherical guy.

The work on "Black Adder" is done.

I'm still yet to configure the new NIC, but those changes will be transparant to anyone using the server.

I've just started them both and at the same time installed Cheating Death 4.2 to Baldric only.

I will be confing the new nic this tuesday.... its a time when I'm free and I can do it during the day while onsite tecs are around in case of a whoopsy :-)
