My experience of the BOC's so far are that for monetary value they contain more than what you pay for them.
It's just that the contents may be completely useless.
The first BOC was definitely the best so far @ £7.98.
HousePartyII iPod dock with damaged local Vol+ button, but has a fully working remote (£30 cheapest price at the time)
Clamshell portable speaker thingy. (£20 on Amazon)
100 cd-r's (about £5)
The second, not so good for me, but still worth more than the purchase price @ £6.98. 99% of people got the same stuff.
Belkin laptop bag (£20 everyone got one of these).
HP screenwipe kits. (couple of quid)
Belkin handsfree headset - wired (£3ish)
Belkin PS/2 mouse with extra long cable. (Probably £4)
With the relatively poor variation on the last BOC, maybe they have some good stuff to put in this time. Perhaps not.
The fun is in not knowing what you'll get. There are also spot prizes of LCD TV's and projectors that make their way in.

yup I'm getting another one. I was very impressed with my last one (Same as Libs except I got a 5m HDMI - DVI cable (~£20) instead of the screen wipes).
Hopefully I'll be lucky again and get something like the cable that I'll use. (I tried using the laptop bag and felt a bit gay.

Some good ideas on the Boffer forum about getting it, not opening it, but wrapping it up for opening on the 25th.

Was also gonna wait for xmas but by the shape of the package (laptop case shaped) i soon ripped open the packaging :) i've been thinking of getting one for me laptop for a while. . .
So was slightly disappointed to find it was only a 14" case :doh:
Still well worth the fiver paid :)
And when inspecting the insides found a usb/firewire card, headphone splitter and a "grow your own venus fly trap :blink:
All in all not a bad 1st boc

Mine has just this second arrived, my third Boffer BOC.
Sh**yLink are using 'white van men' during the Christmas period by the looks of things, deliveries after 8pm are unusual.
I'm going to resist the urge to open it, but as is the tradition with Christmas presents, I have had a good feel :blink:.
I'm positive that one of the items is a 15.4" laptop case and theres some other stuff making it bulge out as well. I'm staying well clear of the Boffer BOC thread to avoid spoilers.
Come on Christmas, this is probably the most exciting present I'm going to get.
Although I did get a great present of a Giant Space Hopper from a very close friend for my Birthday just over a week ago (I've hidden my DOB from the forum cos I'm a miserable sod) :D.
Cue an admin abusing his power and revealing me.
But that's so...... so boring.

I got mine too, it contained a laptop bag, a firewire card, an mp3 player and an action figure (I have no idea what its off though) all absolutely useless to me. In my festive spirit though if anyone wants the bag or the firewire card i'd be willing to let them have it free of charge if they cover any p & p charges :D
Got mine today, Laptop bag, Venus Flytrap growing kit, some curtain tiebacks (***??) and a pci usb/firewire card, in other words a bag of carp.
Haven't got mine yet but I guess I can expect a laptop bag ;)
