Who says there's nothing new in LFS? Scirocco (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=51274)
test hehehe
Oh yes!! :) I must say it looks awesome. Nice new toy for us to play with! :yahoo:
Nice, I'm looking forward to it.
So Doorz, are our Sirocco skins done yet? :norty:
nice:) i really like it when he is in the car park doing a tight turn and its on 3 wheels
Oh, I'm disappointed.
I had been thinking they'll finalize S2 by the christmas and let us have S3 alpha with all the new tracks that Eric has been doing for years. :D
Well, I'm old enough to know that christmas comes next year as well.
Youtube vid looks really sweet :)
I had a Red Mk2 Scirocco GTi last seen upside down in a field in North Scotland :(

Well Scawen did say "more info next week". Who knows, maybe he has more surprises up his sleeve, although I doubt it. But maybe some "under-the-hood" changes will be implemented at the same time..? Those who wait will learn. :49_49:
looking forward to this. Looks really good too, some serious attention to detail. He even modelled the dust on the bit of glass in front of the dials! :D
I doubt we will get any patch with the car, I think we would have seen test patches before now if that was the case.
Quote from: ScawenTo avoid too much anticipation I'd like to make sure you know that there will not be any new content in the new patch other than the VW Scirocco.
Anyone who is not a programmer would probably be surprised how much time some things took to improve, such as the new wheel drawing system and the updated car shadows. The graphical detail of the Scirocco inspired graphical improvements that had to be implemented along with various optimisations to maintain efficiency with higher detail and that just takes time. I can confirm that only the VWS and FBM wheels have been updated to use the new wheel modelling system at this point.
We've also been working on other new things which have not been announced and will not be released in the near future.
So... it'll be a nice patch with some noticeable improvements and the new car, but not really representative of the amount of work that has been done since patch Z.
Oh well. At least he let us know.

At least I let you know. :norty:
