Title: In game achivements tracker?
Post by: Othbarty on December 14, 2008, 01:29:53 PM
Just browsing through the Armory a little bit, and im wondering, is there a ingame achivements tracker? Which tells you you have completed a certain achivement?

There is!
You can find it on the botton Y or in the actionbar menu - its the icon looking like a banner.

There are also a few addons to enchance the achivement experience.

Maytag:  Proud to be languishing at Realm Rank of 1,099th with only 2,000 achievement points.
Teaelle:  Proud to be languishing at Realm Rank of 1,732nd with a little under 1,800 points.

Had the two been added together I might be more interested in achievements when WotLK was launched.  Achievements are something that should be account bound imo.  Makes things real boring when you have re-rolled and all your achievements are split across two toons, hence I have not bothered to chase achievements at all. I am also still somewhat miffed that they failed to give an achievement for the single biggest quest line of all time, the Sceptre quest line.  So I remain defiantly non-plussed by the whole achievement bag.

This (http://www.achievementtracker.com/realms.php?r=242&p=0) is the one of our server: look who stands on nr 102 (http://www.achievementtracker.com/realms.php?r=242&p=1)

rest of the peeps in front of him are unknown to him, also spotted Valdeko on 131, Jim on 191 and Bastet (with Sokhar) on 198

I'm with the first 2000 which I'm a little ashamed about, since I thought I'd be far lower (first 5k or so) :P

Oh and whatever you do, DON"T check the mystery tab!

Stygius and Zardos are 2 ppl I played with in Prometheus, fun stuff ^^

Anyway yeah achievements need to be account bound! Was gonna do a lot of them on my hunter but now that I've rolled pally... Although some achievements are harder to bind to account. Like 'X ammount of quests in Y' achievements. Although I suppose rather than ammount you just do unique quests per account. Hmm, I wonder if they don't already have that... *muses*
