Title: Lock leveling build (70-80)
Post by: Othbarty on January 04, 2009, 08:41:51 PM
Heres (http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warlock/talents.html?tal=205000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000055033014220030051335030051) my current build, i think it burns throught mana to fast, but that might be the fact that im used to the never ending affliction pool :P

It is just something i threw together when i just started, and al tho it gives a good burst dmg output, I would like to get what I can out of my talent points, and thus turn to you guys for advice. Is there any build that is better for leveling then the one i have, please say so, and i would love a small comment on why too.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated :)

I've never been much for destruction, so this might not be to your liking:

http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warlock/talents.html?tal=005000200000000000000000000023300301135202050313523105100000000000000000000000000
Use it on my lock, only 70, but i dont see it changeing much.

The idea is to charge in demon, dot a few times and then drain life.
Then when you've killed mob you convert a bit of hp ==> mana and you are ready to go again.

It plays out a whole lot like a hunter imo, no supprise i liked that build huh.

leveling/raiding and PVP warlock at lower gear all do very well with variations to the above build. Apperantly at tier level affliction starts to pull more dmg.
