There is a quite short review and comparison of the above RAM sticks here (http://www.amdzone.com/articleview.cfm?ArticleID=1331&Glossary=yes). Summary, the Buffalo RAM represents some of the cheapest RAM available. But the OCZ outstrips the performance of the faster RAM and exceeds the overeclocking capabilities of the motherboard used - makes me kinda glad I chose it for my own system :D

OK. I feel I need to get my head round some of these numbers that are bandied around on this forum. First off, this is what I've got in my box of tricks:
512 MB x 1
Upgrade Type Industry standard
Memory
Type DRAM
Technology DDR SDRAM
Form Factor DIMM 184-PIN
Access Time 7.5 ns
Bus Clock Rate 133 MHz ( DDR266/PC2100 )
Supply Voltage 2.5 V
Module Configuration 64 x 64
Data Integrity Check Non-parity
CAS Latency CL2.5
Features Unbuffered
Expansion / Connectivity
Compatible Slots 1 x memory - DIMM 184-PIN
I notice that my numbers are not as big as your numbers TL. Would I benefit by upping the ante to PC3700 and can I do that willy nilly? How if I just whopped another stick of the same stuff in, making it 1ghz of RAM?
I haven't bought anything for a few weeks now, so I'm up for it one way or another!
Oh yeah, Keep it simple! :D
Doorman - it is quicker to discuss it. Give me a call and we'll talk it through - my number is in the member's section under 'Contact Details', about the third thread down if I recall.....
