Had you considered that maybe your teacher was ill as well? It's possible. I'm not being nasty but there are worse things in the world than a bad day at school, many children in Africa dream of being able to go to school (god I sound like my parents now :sideways:)

I feel the same way. I've just had prelims for the last week and a bit. :crying: So I'm sick fed up of revision/work in general. :ranting2:

It's not just school work you'll get bored with. A-Levels and a degree will have bad days to. I expect it'll carry on when I (eventually) get a job.
I'd happily swap that writing test for the particle physics and cosmology exam I did yesterday. (don't do a masters in physics)

He said it would be "similar" to his past paper...it wasn't.

My point is, you have to find a way to deal with it as it only gets harder (I'm good at motivational speeches). When I was in school it was "think"ing in the park. I guess you could play football, or something else.

Note "Think" is the censored version, to avoid being a bad influence to younger members.

Lovely stuff. Have you done Relativistic Magneto-Hydrodynamics yet? I can honestly say that it was the one topic that I just did not "get"

Did it have the word exam on it and difficult stuff?
then it's similar in their eyes.

Got to say that I finally finished my studies and it was a relieve allthough I did learn something; if you are sure you can make a higher school but want to work, do the school first...

Nope. That sounds hard. Not had to do anything with such a funky name. Can't picture what that would involve. Magnetic fluids travelling at near the speed of light? When would you use such a thing.

(After 2 more exams I'm on to my final project so it looks like I've escaped that one)

Yeah, It had the same cover sheet, with 2008 changed to 2009, but everything inside it was on different topics. And where he'd left the question even remotely similar the Lagrangian (equation describing the system) was made more complex so people got stuck.

Gotta say, I was delighted when I finally left Uni and got into the world of work, but maybe that because i'm lucky to have a job I love. No more tests unless I decide to go in for them, and if i decide to go in it's because it's on a subject I enjoy \o/

To quote a source of unknown (to me) origin ...

Rocket science is easy. Rocket engineering is the real toughie.

It's still open because it's a giant advert. Advertised in 50+ countries. Not bad publicity for £70,000(?)

Of course. It's a very clever cheap way of getting column inches and airtime. Very clever concept. Kudos to the agency (Hills Balfour Synergy) behind it.

Network/Systems Admin + Programmer for Lancaster Uni. Not everyone's cup of tea, but for the most part I love it. Currently working on a major project with one of my workmates to code an access control system that will auth all machines/people before they're allowed on our network, and also auths our network admins when they log into a network device, and logs what they do on it. There are various commercial products already out there, but they all cost a bomb and don't do everything we want/need. It's a challenge to make it all work well and fast, and i'm really enjoying working on it.
