CoD4 Server Monitor for sidebar:

CoD4 (32bit (http://gallery.live.com/liveItemDetail.aspx?li=420cd3a8-bb0d-496f-a076-8e231e9afab4&bt=1&pl=1) and 64bit (http://gallery.live.com/liveItemDetail.aspx?li=350f4cf5-1458-4168-8803-6a288916b249&bt=1&pl=1) OS)

I installed it twice and set one to monitor private server and one to monitor the public. It only tells you how many players but it is quick and handy :)

Urgh!

I prefer the one I use, it allows up to 3 servers to be monitored and just monitoring our 2 servers takes up the same room on the sidebar, also supports a few other games but it monitors only and won't launch them.

I just have shortcuts on my desktop pointing to each of the servers. Just double click to join.

Shortcut for the Public one is:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +rcon login rconpw +connect 77.108.129.47:28960

Shortcut for the Private one is:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +rcon login rconpw +password password +connect 77.108.129.47:28970

Thats what I have. but if i could run the came from the gadget it would save some desktop space.

I know it is more of an admin tool but I use hlsw for launching most games. You have your passwords be it rcon or login saved in as well and with a click can launch any of your games and log straight in. It also now shuts it self down after it has exec'd the game and closes to task bar. Much better than it used to be.

There is a player section. I have no idea how well it works as my name is the same for most things. I think. I may be wrong. Age confused.......
