I propose a trialist status for people who would like to put themselves under the two way microscope until we decide whether we like each other. There will be no timescale and it will still be membership by invitation.
If you feel there is a likely convert to dMrism, bear in mind that means dMwism, give me a shout.
LFS skins? Will the generic skin do until they are confirmed (baptised in engine oil?)or should I make some with T on them. The trouble is there are so many of them! (Guess which answer I'd prefer :))
nKP skins: I have made a F1600 dMr skin named dMr#T.

What about just one skin for all probies. Plain white with 'dMr testee' on it.

That would be as much messing about as if I put 'Testes' on the existing skins.
surely if they are under the trail scheme then they would be wearing the trailist tag : dMt
if thats the case then imho that would be enough to show those that need to know that they are on trail
and could then wear what ever skin they pls (i.e. not dMr).
then if they make it thru the trail, they get a shiny new paint job to match there shiny new dMr tag :flirty:

Having 'mulled', it occurs to me that the dMt thing is a CoD4/CS:S thing is it not?
This whole thing came about because in nKP there isn't the same naming protocol as LFS so dMrRon Attwood looks wrong and wouldn't show up in game as such. It would be d Attwood. :sideways: So, there is a chap that drives on our server regularly and is seen by some of us as being dMr/dMw material. He asked if he could have a skin with his number on it. I told him they're for members only but I'd do a T skin. At the same time explaining how you get membership. As I was typing it seemed right to include LFS in the same 'scheme'.
In hindsight I can see the flaws in this idea. I'm not keen to go down the trialist route a la CoD but maybe throwing a carrot to potentials would be ok.
