Plays fine for me.  I just typed Coldplay in the search and chose the tracks from there.

It's now my primary music player. I use it for songs that I own and ones I don't. You load it up anywhere (at home or at uni for me) and your playlists are all there. So much choice of songs. Very few adverts, decent quality, and almost never skips or disconnects.
Everyone who pirates music should atleast look into it. I've not had a song not play and I've tried loads (including Viva La Vida.
You can set it scrobble your songs to Last.fm and then find the suggestions of what you might like and check them out for free.Or simply follow it's suggestions (though they are a little limited).

Simply amazing service. I imagine over time they'll add more adverts or remove the free service, but for now it's a legal way to listen to a whole pile of songs for free when you want to (No Pandora like seaching for an artist and it not letting you play the song you wanted till it came up by chance etc)

I find this to be a brilliant service as well. I have had an account now for some weeks, and I love it more and more. As T-Bag said, it's easy to use anywhere (at home and at work mostly for me), you got all your playlists, the adverts are very limited (even though I have noticed them to be a bit more frequent lately, but still only audio adverts to upgrade to the premium subscription (but never more than 2-3 times a day)), and best of all - as least I feel - it is a great way to discover new music you'd never listen to under other circumstances. An all this for free :woot2:

I've also got a tip for you folks, in case some of you have troubles getting hold of an invite (I haven't gotten any to hand out at least): some Norwegian guys have put together a site where people with many invites (there are folks getting hundreds...) can donate them to others! Just follow this link: http://spotify.mikromann.net/

Since the page is in Norwegian, I'll give you a short explanation: In the third gray area from the top, there is a text box and a button. You only have to type "ja" (Norwegian for "yes", as the text in front of the box says "Do you want to register?" (it's just to avoid bots)), and then hit the button. You are taken directly to Spotify's web site with an invite link.

The site logs your IP to avoid pepole taking more than one invite each, but other than that there is nothing to it at all. So go get yourself an account and enjoy the world of legally free music :D

And whose fault do you think that is? For one, it is not Spotify - that is all on those greedy *******s that run the major labels (or greedy artists even? but I doubt that...). Not all have wanted to make a deal with Spotify (yet - but more seem to be coming all the time :) )

You have to be patient with online music. The beatles haven't even come to iTunes yet.
There are some old bands on there:

Aerosmith
Beach Boys
Bob Marley
Cream
David Bowie
Depeche Mode
Duran Duran
Guns N' Roses
Deep Purple
Black Sabbath
Van Halen
Motorhead
Kiss
Iron Maiden
Judas Preist
Whitesnake
Alice Cooper
Rainbow
etc etc...

(I count anything around before I was as old)
I mean Cream is 60's (REALLY old :narnar:) and Bob Marley died 28 years ago, so I guess that's pretty old. I know if the majority of what you listen to isn't on there the service will be hard to live with, but there's a decent amount on there to check out.

It should be now available in pretty many countries.
"Spotify Premium is available in Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Spain and the UK. The free version is only available in Sweden, Norway, Finland, the UK, France and Spain, and in some of those countries an invitation is required."

I can honestly recommend this, just got an invite and it has LOADS of music. For free! If you are interested I can tell a page where you can get an invite :norty:

Followed Lex's  link for an invite and just installed it. I'm impressed with the speed. Even scrolling through songs, there's hardly any rebuffering.

Have only searched for a couple of artists up untill now, but have found them all. :D
